HyperX Reveals New Cloud III Headset & True Wireless Earbuds
Just in time for demon slaying and street fighting.
Expanding on its ever-growing line of high-performance gaming peripherals, HyperX revealed today during COMPUTEX 2023 its new Cloud III Gaming Headset. The newcomer to the company’s trusted Cloud series of headsets improves on all facets of the Cloud II, from enhanced comfort to accurate 3D audio spatialization.
“We’re thrilled to introduce Cloud III, our next generation Cloud gaming headset,” director of PC gaming at HyperX, Marcus Hermann, said. “HyperX Cloud has always stood for the most comfortable gaming headsets on the market and with the Cloud III, we took time to dive deep into what gamers love about Cloud II and enhance every aspect of the new headset.”
Cloud III features re-engineered 53mm angled drivers and DTS Headphone:X for an immersive audio experience through the included USB 2.0 or 3.5mm plug. The new headset also emphasizes directional sounds with 3D audio spatialization that sucks players into the action.
Improving on Cloud II’s design, Cloud III includes added padding around the aluminum headband and the company’s signature memory foam ear cushions. To keep players communicating in-game, the new headset features a 10mm microphone with an internal metal mesh pop filter and noise cancellation so call-outs aren’t lost to poor sound quality.
Cloud III wasn’t the only thing revealed during COMPUTEX 2023 as HyperX also showcased its Cirro Buds Pro True Wireless Earbuds. With precision and active noise cancellation, the buds provide uninterrupted audio no matter where you are. The buds support Bluetooth 5.2 and come with a protective charging case that helps achieve up to 35 hours of battery life.
The HyperX Cloud III Gaming Headset is available now for $99.99 and is compatible with PC and all current and previous-gen consoles.
The Cirro Buds will be available in June in black, blue, or tan for $79.99.
